Merupakan bagian dari Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (The Institution of Engineers Indonesia ) yang anggotanya terdiri dari para insinyur Mesin di seluruh Indonesia, yang mempunyai tugas dan wewenang melaksanakan tugas operasional organisasi dan program kerja PII, menyangkut Pembinaan Kompetensi Insinyur Mesin, dalam bidang kegiatan Praktik Keinsinyuran Mesin.

The Institute of Indonesian Engineers/Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII) was established on May 23, 1952 in Bandung by Ir. Djuanda Kartawidjaja and Dr. Ir. Rooseno Soeryohadikoesoemo. PII is the largest and oldest professional organization of engineers in Indonesia that is acknowledged by Engineer Act 2014.
Professional engineers certification information
Professional Engineer Certification (SIP) is awarded based on an evaluation of the Professional Engineer Application Form (FAIP) in three (three) levels of qualification, indicating the degree of competence.
